On Friday, 12/6 Lincoln School hosted an installment of the Rutherford Public School’s Parent Academy on Phonics Instruction. Parents learned some strategies to help develop their child’s phonetic skills and understand what is and is not dyslexia.

Anxious Generation-panel discussion for parents and guardians of 4th-12th grade students. On Friday, November 15, 2024, Superintendent, Mr. Hurley along with district curriculum supervisors and students assistant counselors from Union and Pierrepont schools presented a discussion on various topics highlighted in The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, specifically the under-supervision of children using cellphones in grades 4-12, the influence and “hold” social media has on this population and the impact on student development and learning.
