2025 SEA Registration

Rutherford Public Schools is happy to offer the 2025 Summer Enrichment Academy this year for incoming Kindergarten to Grade 3 students. Space is limited and registration is open. Please note if your child is NEW to the district for the 2025-2026 school year, you may not register for SEA until you have completed the enrollment process.

Payment information:
Current students: Tuition will be uploaded to your child’s PaySchools account for those families who are currently enrolled in the Rutherford Public Schools.

Incoming/New students: Online payment is not available. Please fill out the registration form online and drop off payment in the red drop box located on the Donaldson Avenue side of Rutherford Borough Hall, 176 Park Avenue. Please make sure to place your check in an envelope and write Rutherford Board of Education on the outside. Inside the envelope be sure you include your child’s name and what grade they are entering in the fall. Please note, we will only accept checks from those families who are NOT in the PaySchools system.

Please note that no refunds will be given after May 31st.

Kindergarten Kindness Ambassadors Visit the Kip Center

Valentine’s Day is a time for expressing love and appreciation. Students, with the help of some of the Kip members, created heart crafts to be displayed at the Kindergarten Center and the Kip Center. This experience provided the opportunity for positive interaction between young children and older adults or other members of the community who might be at the Kip Center.

RHS Students Bringing Illustration to Life!

RHS students from Mrs. Baumann’s Advanced Textiles class and FCCLA club visited the Kindergarten Center to teach a lesson about worrying and how to calm your worries. The high school students read “The Very Hungry Worry Monsters”, a book about monsters who eat up your worries! They helped the kindergarteners draw their own Worry Monsters, and the RHS Textiles classes will be working on making all the kindergarteners Worry Monsters come to life!

Reminder: Preschool Open House June 17

If your child is registered to attend the Rutherford Preschool program (Lincoln School or Washington School), preschoolers and their parents/guardians are invited to attend an open house on Monday, June 17th at 1:30. Preschoolers will have the opportunity to explore the classroom while information about the program is shared. Unfortunately, this event can not accommodate siblings.

Please enter through the main entrance at your respective school:

Lincoln School: 414 Montross Ave

Washington School: 89 Wood Street
